Best practice for handling user attribute updates in real time with Optimove?

Hi everyone,

We’re currently integrating Optimove with our product and I had a question around updating user attributes in near real time. Right now, most of our attributes (like last activity date, session count, and feature usage flags) are updated via daily batch uploads.

However, we’re starting to run campaigns that depend on very recent user behavior (within minutes or hours), and I’m unsure what the recommended approach is. Should we be sending frequent incremental updates through the real-time API, or is it better to limit real-time data to events only and let attributes update later in batch?

I’d appreciate any guidance on performance considerations, data consistency issues, or examples of how others are handling this in production. Thanks in advance for your insights. golf hit
