How do I find a reliable peptide supplier?

I'm not looking for advice on where to buy, but what exactly should I look for? I've read that I should buy from a supplier whose products have been lab-tested for purity, but I've also read that lab reports are very easy to falsify.
How can I tell a legitimate product from a counterfeit one?
