This endpoint is used to create or update custom reward types of type Unit. Unit-based rewards are typically used for secondary currencies such as loyalty points, coins, tokens, or even alternative currencies like Bitcoin.

By defining unit reward types, you enable promotions to issue rewards beyond standard monetary discounts—supporting gamification, loyalty programs, or engagement mechanics.

Typical Use Case:
You may want to define a reward called LoyaltyCoins to be used in a promotion that grants users 100 coins for completing an action. Or create a VIPPoints reward type that feeds into your tiered membership system.
