To ensure optimal performance, reliability, and fair usage for all clients, the Promotions API enforces rate limits on incoming requests. This document outlines the standard baseline rate limits, our Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and operational performance expectations.
Rate Limits
The default baseline rate limits are applied per IP address.

| Create a Promotion Transaction ( /v1/promotions/{promotionId}/transactions) | Processes promo-related transactions atomically. | Custom Limits Available. |
| Other API Endpoints | General queries & minor operations. | Custom Limits Available. |
Custom Limits Available
The above values represent default baseline limits. Configurable rate limits are offered based on individual client needs, usage patterns, and contractual agreements. To request a custom rate limit, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
