Optimove MCP actions reference

The connector exposes 5 tools with about 85 actions between them. Your AI client picks the tool and action from your request, so you don't call them directly, but this list shows exactly what the assistant can and can't do in your tenant.

Every action runs with the connected user's Optimove permissions, and PII is masked on the server before anything is returned. Some actions depend on features enabled for your tenant.

analyst

Performance and what's running (read-only).

Action	What it does
`campaigns`	List and filter campaigns (channel, status, target group, stream, promo, significance, uplift). Defaults to the last 30 days, or yesterday to today when nothing is filtered
`campaign`	Everything about one campaign: config, KPIs, insights, A/B winner, exclusions, outliers
`channel`	Performance for one channel: engagement, test vs control response rates, daily trend
`kpi`	Uplift and significance per campaign (up to 100 per call), for the whole account, or daily
`streams`	List streams or journeys; with an ID, show the journey structure and what each node does
`drafts`	List campaign drafts
`status`	Health of real-time and batch execution
`dashboard`	The tenant Dashboard page (10 widgets: KPI summary, most/least effective, coverage)
`timeline`	Every campaign running in a date range, with the dates it runs, occurrence count and the busiest day
`campaign_reach`	How many customers campaigns reach, by campaign or target group
`lifecycle_campaign_coverage`	Campaign coverage per lifecycle stage, with optional contact-frequency breakdown
`insights`	AI Insights cards, for the tenant or specific campaigns
`funnel`	Funnel Explorer conversion between stages (e.g. Registration to Deposit)
`stream_analysis`	Results for a stream's treatments vs its control: group size, migration rate, and impact on every KPI with significance and winner (whole-stream level, not per node)
`prediction_tree`	The decision tree predicting a lifecycle stage's outcome (e.g. Active: staying active): each split rule with its customer count and rate, plus the top predictors
`audience_size`	Customer count for conditions, a target group, a stage, a segment or an attribute filter
`attribute_distribution`	How customers split across the values of an attribute (e.g. Country)
`cohorts`	Cohort report: retention, cumulative transactions, LTV
`audience_profile`	Attribute profile of an audience
`audience_trend`	Weekly trend of a group's size or of an attribute
`customers`	Customer-level rows with chosen attribute columns. PII attributes are masked, and results are capped at the top 100 customers
`business_performance`	Business Performance report: deposits and revenue by year, quarter or month; top days; first-time split; repeat rate

Building blocks (read-only).

builder

Creates and edits drafts (can't delete; activation happens in the UI).

🚧
The builder can't delete anything, and it can't activate, schedule or send a campaign; those actions always happen in the Optimove UI. It also can't edit anything used by a live or scheduled campaign. Write actions prompt for confirmation in your AI client.

expert

Searches documentation (read-only).

query: searches Optimove docs (Academy, Developer Hub, Trust Center; over 2,000 articles) or the MCP's own usage docs.
topics: fetches the MCP's own per-action docs (for example builder.campaign), which the assistant loads before it uses a builder action.

show_image_gallery

Display only. Displays images, such as from the image library, as a gallery.
